The Beatrice Thompson Mariotti Scholarship
This scholarship is a restricted fund designed to give an annual award to one of the five Young Woman of the Month applicants. It honors the memory of Beatrice Mariotti, an aspiring actress and philanthropic maven who married the inventor Arthur Thompson. The scholarship is funded by their son Arthur, who is married to Maria Thompson Delgadillo, past president of the Bisbee Woman's Club.

Bobbe Hossman was a tireless volunteer with the Bisbee Woman's Club for over 25 years. She served as president for many terms and led the club through enormously successful fundraisers. Her most ambitious efforts were focused on the Historic Home Tour, which has become known throughout the area and neighboring states. She initiated the Chair Auction (now known as the Art Chairs & More Auction) held in conjunction with the Home Tour, which funds the scholarship program.
Applications are being accepted for the Bobbe Hossman Scholarship sponsored by the Bisbee Woman’s Club. This scholarship is awarded to women in the Bisbee area who wish to continue their education. The scholarship is awarded for undergraduate, graduate work or professional certification. The Student Scholar Award has the same criteria and is a scholarship award for men. The same application form may be used.
Eligible applicants must be graduates of Bisbee High School or have attended school in Bisbee or Naco, AZ. They may or may not be living in Bisbee at present.
